WHO WE ARE

Supporting the complete student experience

University life is about more than academics. It is also about belonging, participation, personal growth and meaningful experiences.

The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) at MIT Art, Design and Technology University (MIT-ADT University), Pune, plays a pivotal role in creating a vibrant, inclusive and student-centric campus environment. It works towards the holistic development of students through leadership, cultural engagement, discipline, wellness, sports, residential life and student support initiatives.

OSA coordinates student governance through the MIT IMPACT Student Council, cultural societies, clubs, chapters, associations, sports councils, youth festivals, flagship events and volunteer engagement programmes. These activities encourage students to collaborate, contribute ideas and participate actively in campus life.

The Office also supports student welfare through scholarship assistance, mental health support, counselling, outreach activities and student development initiatives. Its wider responsibilities include residential and campus life, student discipline committees, anti-ragging initiatives, grievance redressal, sports academies, fitness facilities and alumni engagement.

Through these coordinated initiatives, OSA aims to provide opportunities for academic enrichment, leadership development, cultural exposure, social responsibility and overall personality development.

STUDENT PARTICIPATION

A campus shaped by student voices

Student participation is an important part of a vibrant university community. Through student governance, clubs, societies, associations and volunteering, students can contribute ideas, collaborate with peers and take part in activities beyond academic learning.

The MIT IMPACT Student Council provides a platform for student governance. Cultural programmes, student organisations and campus activities create further opportunities to participate, learn and lead.

STUDENT WELLBEING

Students should be able to find relevant support information clearly and without unnecessary steps. OSA coordinates student-welfare initiatives and provides pathways to university support resources.
